About the Client

TempStars was founded & built by Dr James Younger DDS to alleviate the stress of finding qualified hygienists and assistants at short notice.

Project Goal

During TempStars recent re-brand, we were tasked with upgrading the user experience of the permanent job search with a view to later increasing revenue by driving more offices to post jobs. We decided to re-factor the job search by building it in Bubble. This no-code tool enabled us to design and deploy a high-quality experience in less than half the usual time.

Planning & Ideation

First we explored different options with TempStars. These included improving the in-app experience first, but due to development bottlenecks, we quickly settled on using a no-code tool to improve the existing search experience and sit this within the existing website url structure.

Wireframes were created to serve as a guide for the expected behaviour, define content requirements, and keep all stakeholders up to date.

Design & Build

Minimal layout designs were created in Figma to define overall structure and sizing, with the bulk of the responsive design work being done directly in Bubble. We worked collaboratively to pull data from TempStar's SQL database for the front-end.

Our design approach was to focus on trust-building as well as utility. For this reason on the front page we pulled recent jobs, so that users could see some value in the service without requiring any work on their part.
